I have mine and luckily my junior high and high school were in the same district so all 6 years are included. I figure it fits in the "arrived before 15" requisite of deferred action.

I finished high school in 08 so I'm getting my transcripts sent- that should prove I've been here for over 5 years. I wasn't at the high school I graduated from when I was 15 though, so I'll have to contact my old high school, or just get some old report cards. It sucks that schools are being so unhelpful, being on summer break is no excuse. Most schools have plenty of work to do between school years.

Try district office. They usually carry out registrar duties during summer.

Do middle schools send transcripts? And can you still get some sort of transcript if you're still in high school?

Here in CA, middle schools are in the the same districts as high schools so they'll usually have all of your transcripts. And it might be easier for you right now that you're in school to get them. Just go to the main office or your counselor and ask.

Anyways my post was closed so I couldn't reply....

Most schools do keep track of your academic career, so they probably have some sort of transcript available but Im not sure about the middle school part. You probably have to ask your local district, but Im sure report cards should work, especially if they're from the end of the year.

My post was closed but I still have a question about official vs. unofficial transcripts. Many colleges have a strict policy of only accepting transcripts that are sealed in the school's envelope, does anyone think USCIS would have a similar policy?

^ I tried merging your posts over to this thread from the one I closed, but couldn't get it to work. The reason I closed it was we are getting too many separate threads of a similar topic, and this is turn makes it harder for other posters to get the answers when they have the same questions, and thus causes them to open another thread about the same topic.

Your question has been asked before and until we get more detailed instructions, I don't think anyone can give you a definitive yes or no answer. The best option is to get an official if you can (keep the transcript in the sealed envelope for the moment). If you can't, unofficial should carry some weight in showing your eligibility.
