All I think about every morning, evening, night is about this. I am barely making any money...I will have to borrow some to pay for the documents, then today I learned that the process might take up to Feb next year, and that effes me even more because I was hoping to get this job in the airport by December.... well let it be... GOD'S PLANS ARE PERFECT!!!

Hence, you should take solace in the fact that you will at the very least receive some sort of finality with regard to this terrible life. The options then become deciding to stay and continue living the only way of life that you have ever known (as an undocumented person struggling to survive) or look to leave the United States for good and never looking back. As much as I love this country, I am on my last leg. I don't care to have my life held hostage by evil republicans. I have no patience for complications that may arise with the deferred action process. If something goes awry, I'll gladly take my refunded money and call it quits.

For me, this undocumented way of life is DEFINITELY going to end in the coming months. It may result in me getting a work permit or it may result in me leaving this land and not batting an eye.

I've spent 99.9% of my life in this country, have been brought here at less than a year old. I am just as American, if not more so than so many others who were born here. It is high time to take control of my life.
Don't be so negative, if you meet all the requirements and have no misdemeanor, you should be fine.

I've been stressed out all my life. This past January I finally took control of my life and not let things get to me as much. I decided to stop stressing, stop worrying. So when the whole Deferred Action came through, I was kinda "meh". Not up nor down. Considering how many tears I've shed over the years, I've yet to cry tears of joy over this lol.

I'm still "meh" in a happy way, but I need to see it to believe it. I get more excited by the day though

Still stressing a bit myself. Even though I am 99% sure I will get Def. Action and my Work Permit, there is still that 1% in the back of my head that says "what if I don't get it?" :s

And still though, even though I'll have my work permit, there is still the matter of out of state tuition with local collages and universites. The community college I have enrolled with for the fall is very strict about classes they give to the undocumented. Classes Start Aug 16, yet I won't be given a chance to register for classes til the 21st. Others have gone through this and know equally how stressful it is.

I feel you on that one. I stopped going to school 5 years ago due to financial issues.
Eventhough i qualify for california's AB540, im still short with payments. Its either go to school and have your parents pay for everything or go to work and help out the family with everything. I had to quit school so i can help out my parents. I dont want them stressing over my college expenses. I have two little brothers who needed the money more. But once i get my work permit i will look for a job that offers graveyard shift so i can go to school in the morning.
