Is your passport expired? Or you have never had one?

We need more details, there are requirements for both situations. I just renewed my passport with no problem two days ago. Also, don't edit your post with big text because it messes up everything.

i just got my passport on wed 07/25/2012 . I had to take my matricula ID, had to take my birth certificate, have the op-5 application ready, 1 copy of matricula ID front and back, and 1 copy of birth certificate. paid $74 for the 3 year passport, and in about 40 min i had my new passport. Which was the first time i have applied for it. Yesterday 07/26/2012 i went back to consulate and changed my matricula Id, i took my old matricula, copy of old matricula back and front, copy of mail to prove that i live where i said i live, $27, and have ready the matricula application. waited 30 min and had my new updated matricula Id.

I have been out of school (masters ) since 05/12/2012. i had no problems.

my brother who was out of his bachelors since jan 2011, went with me yesterday and got his new passport and new matricula Id , with not problems.

My brother has the same problem. He doesn't have a matricula consular nor passport and he graduated high school a year ago. He has his birth certificate, proof of address but he doesn't have a form of I'd he only has his old school I'd. Would the old schOol I'd? Will it be accepted as a form of identification? He wants to apply for either matricula or passport.!

Have your brother talk to the head consul, they will tell you exactly what you.can do in that situation. I didn't have a high school.ID, so I brought my transcripts, birth.certificate, bank statements and yearbook picture and was given the o.k.

I think it would be easier to get your passport if you get the matricula first. Nonetheless, they should accept your HS ID. If not, you can try and get your HS transcript with your photo on it.

Here is what you need according to the Mexican Consul in Houston: http://translate.google.com/translat...%3D100&act=url (Translated to English)
