I came across this article today: http://news.jornal.us/article-6654.D...-internet.html

It says that idreamact.com is now online and it allows you to get your paperwork done straight from your computer. Can anyone verify that this is truly a legitimate website? And can anyone explain how it works? I'm not familiar with this stuff.

If it isn't USCIS, I'll pass. I don't want to deal with any 3rd party websites.

STAY AWAY!!

Look at the bottom of the page.

"This is an advertisement. Certification as an Immigration Specialist is not currently available in New York or New Jersey."

I would not use "idreamact.com" because the website does not look professional and it's full of incorrect information. Not to mention it refers to DACA as "Obama's Dream Act." Even if it is legitimate it seems like a hassle to scan and upload all your documents to whatever (hopefully secure) database.

I did check the website's domain registration and it is indeed registered to Moses Apsan of Apsan Law Offices. His own website says it is an advertisement AND he practices in NY and NJ which as amoney3 pointed out, he is not certified in as an Immigration Specialist.

Exactly, the only source of reliable information should be the USCIS website, since they are the ones who are going to process our documents.

Wow, talk about a lawyer trying to get clients in, no matter what. This is the kind I'd stay away from. The kind, I've said on other threads, who'll promise you everything under the sun, and probably charge you $3k for filling out the DACA forms. Wow!

Also:

Dream Act registrartion now available on Internet
Let me put that again:

Being someone who does linguistics and languages, this bugs the hell out of me. >.>

In the "article", which is really an advertorial for the lawyer's crap, they even refer to DACA as the "Dream Act", not even "Obama's Dream Act" (which is still incorrect, as was noted above):
Quote:
When the Dream Act application package is filed with the immigration service the filing fee must be attached.
Newsflash, Mr. Apsan: the Dream Act has not passed, how can you claim there's a Dream Act application to be filled out. Ah, but with a filing fee which -- let me guess -- we give to you, right?

Obviously written to get a higher rank on Google from Dreamers looking for legitimate information.

I'm appalled. Block that website right now, and don't ever visit it again.
