Do some of you really deserve to Deferred Action

The first page of this forum is filled with topics that relate to DUIs and misdemeanors.

Much respect to all of you that don't have any of these issues.

Noticed that. *shrug* People have made their choices in life, some suffered, some prospered, some.. yea.

The guidelines would have been nice were they released, and would probably lessen the negative looking posts.

Everybody has their own circumstances, I believe they do deserve Deferred Action. Deportation is such a cruel punishment.

I bet you most of them wont be accepted.

Guilty conciseness mostly, To be fair though conducting a Background check on your self is recommended before applying.

Topic 1: The person is afraid to have a background check done on them because they're illegal.
Topic 2: The person's name is wrong on their transcript.
Topic 3: Person asking what qualifies as a misdemeanor
Topic 4: The OP might have been arrested for driving without a license.
Topic 5: "Hey guys, let's be nice to each other"
Topic 6: OP's brother has a DUI
Topic 7: Mismatch of information on high school transcript
Topic 8: Guy with 4.2 GPA is unable to get into community college
Topic 9: OP wants to join the military after DACA

So.. Out of those 9 topics only topics 3,4, and 6 have something to do with someone doing something illegally. Only topics 3 & 4 have something to do with a possible illegal action conducted by a DA.info members.

Given how easy it to get a misdemeanor just having one doesn't really mean anything. The DUI part is a lot iffier and I'm sure that's best left for another discussion.

The only people who will be able to determine if one is deserving or not is dependent on the individual case represented before the people doing background checks under DHS and the FBI and the evidence laid out before USCIS to showcase eligibility.The validity of "who qualifies?" based on any opinions here just creates disunity,imo.

Well it works in the benefit of those who are 100% clean like most of us! Our process will go faster!
