All I have is an expired state ID, is there anything else a shop will take as ID?

I would wait. They said that if you have tattoos you could be associated with a gang. Some people have trouble getting G.C because they think they have gang history.

Don't get anything that may look gang related or has human skulls on it.

even an expired passport shall do in most places imo i advice you get the classic ms-13 tattoo on your forehead, can't go wrong with that one
