Hi well im going to be going into senior year of high school real soon and want to apply for deferred action on August 15 but i slacked off a lot and have really bad grades. My gpa is 1.8 and failed 2 classes so far in high school and was wondering if having really bad grades and gpa could be a reason to deny me deferred action?

No. If you have bad grades and can't graduate then get your GED.

Sorry to hear about your grades slipping there.

USCIS is not college admissions, and transcripts are not a copy of your criminal records. If you send them your transcript, they'll be looking at it as a record of time -- last 5 years, before age 16, etc.

No, it's fine. They will not do that. Just send the transcripts. If you're afraid of it, then try to get copies of your attendance from your school office.

They won't reject you cause of your grades lol! We just need proof that we are still in hs for the application. I have a question though. As you're a minor such as myself, what exactly is your proof that you were here on the 15th?

Dobby, USCIS will deduce that you were in the country on that day if you show documentation from before and after that day.
An example would be your transcript that shows you finished the previous grade in May or June + proof of current enrollment for the upcoming school year.
