Ooh, do tell, please -- in a PM if you don't feel comfortable saying it here. xD

As for being on-topic, this is one of the reasons I have sort of avoided clubs and bars all this time. Besides the fact that I don't drink, I didn't like not being able to show a CA ID like all my other friends. I thought how embarrassing it would be being denied entrance because the works there won't accept your ID as valid.

I see it hasn't been an issue for you guys, so maybe I'll give it a try sometime while this whole DACA process goes through.

Way too easy! I'll let the others answer.

But I use my passport. I got over the embarrassment, but it took some years. Ironically, this year was the first time I let it go and now I'll end up with a DL soon (hopefully )

Oh, my. That is indeed an easy one. Haha.

It's like when I've had people who find out I speak several languages ask me something along the lines of: "So.. you speak France?"

<head:desk>

Yeah, buddy, I sure speak France. Do you speak US?

-.-

It's called "American" fool! Lol!

I am glad you guys think that was easy... I was going to add clue's like:

Our land is ruled by a certain famous figure called Simba.

We win most many marathons in the East Coast.

And lastly we are a country that was succeeded to British control during the Scramble for Africa and gained independence in 1963.

I figured the last clue would have been a dead giveaway. It was my last resort.

I've used it at a few restaurants to buy drinks... it's sorta uncomfortable taking out that damn green ID (matricula) Most of the times I don't even drink, to avoid the awkwardness. I used it at BJ's Restaurant... waitress said "Let me go ask my supervisor" lol and she came back with a beer. I went to El Torito for happy hour, and the bouncer guy dude said, we don't take matricula, but I'll let you in. Have had no issues at AMPM buying alcohol, but I think the paisa working the counter was a plus. lol.

I've gone to a few clubs, no issues.

And I usually buy beer and a supermarket where I used to work, most of the times I see a supervisor or cashier I used to work with and no issues. I know some super markets are strict, like Food 4 Less (Kroger) Got turned down by the cashier.

But all this should end soon!

I used to live in a sanctuary city where they wouldn't even card you at the chain gas stations. They'd ask your b-day sometimes. Then you'd walk into some family store ran by some malinche pochos w/an axe to grind and they'd give you grief.
