my high school has a website where you could download the form and submit it. took them a few weeks to process. it's unofficial since transcripts sent to the students remain so. the unofficial one looks pretty official and comes from the NYC dept. of education. contact the high school if there is no website to download a form and ask to speak to the person who handles records if you're having trouble.

I suppose you can infer that I feel like that if say the person in question is similar to Kikibay92's cousin (no offense to you Kiki).

and by ideal world i meant a world in which your value system could be imposed and implemented. and no, i'm sure you're not alone in your opinion.... which is if you haven't achieved high school equivalency by now, and are motivated to do so because of "an announcement" --- a pretty big life changing one i may dare say, you have little to contribute, have probably contributed nothing, and lack character.
Ideal world would be what you just defined. Why does it have to be a life changing one to need to have the drive to succeed?

why share opinions at all, ever. it's not like sharing an opinion built the road to where we stand today, right?
I gave my opinion due to what the OP asked.

you say pretty judgmental things, then try to back away from it with either focusing on hostile reactions or being like, doesn't matter anyways. thank goodness your opinion doesn't matter much.
Matters as much as yours.

ok, so i was asking you to clarify what your value system is. and as for the life changing, it doesn't. but for some people, this might be their push. so what?

Matters as much as yours.

and i don't mind sharing it or being held accountable for it.

When did you request your transcript? It's summer now and I don't think anyone is working. All the summer staffs are over at another school. Thanks anyway.

sent mine in early july. took around 3 weeks. the records office is staffed by one person during the summer who comes in one day out of the week. there might be someone there at your school; definitely give them a call, and if not, contact the department of education. you can message me on the boards if you need any more help.

Ahh gotcha, my value system is not absolutes. It values people that worked hard not knowing what's going to happen, more than (again no offense) Kiki's cousin case. It's not a perfect system but I do believe in priorities.

And if the announcement did drive them to succeed (in my instance, more), then more power to them! My hand is open to help.

As do I, as I am still replying in a civil manner.
