So, I have a bunch of different photocopies of IDs on my packet (Drivers license, school IDs, passport, Selective Service card, etc). I'm wondering if I should take these to a bank to have notarized or somehow made more "legit"? Or is a regular photocopy enough?

(BTW, never notarized something before, do I just take the photocopies to the bank? Do I need to do anything else?)

You may get it notarized if you wish, but regular photocopy is enough. IF your copy looks shady to them, then they may request for the originals. But that's something you worry about afterwards.

The only thing that should be notarized should be affidavits. Other than the affidavits, everything else should be a good copy of all the documents with nice resolution and preferably color.

I put all my ID's on one paper and no need to notarize.

Can they be in color or should they be in black and white.

Either as long as document is legible. I think for photo ids color looks better, but not required.

Anything that had color, I photocopied in color. I figured it looked better.
