I have two affidavits for proving my residence in the country since 2010. One is a letter dated in July 2012 from my landlord stating my residential history at the apartment since 2000. Another is a letter from my lawyer describing my car accident in 2011, the resulting medical treatment and my on going attorney-client relationship with him. I am not concerned about the second letter but should I get the first one notarized?

I don't think you need to notarize latter from your lanlord, your landord's company treadmark with sign is same as notarize.

If I might add a question here if OP doesn't mind because it revolves around the same subject. Do we have to get all our evidence documents notarized?

Well, the letter doesn't have the company treadmark. However, it has my landlord's signature. Is that good enough?

If professionally written with signature on it should be fine. That's what I have done to make my case stroger, I got two of my diffrent banks to write me latter saying I have active and runing accounts since 2006, it dosent have notarize but it got official bank logo with bank manger signature on it.
