I am sending the official sealed envelope since the unofficial ones look like someone typed them up with wordpad. Plus school doesn't stamp a seal on them since they have official ones. Its all about making money since they charge for them.

So basically, if you made up a 9 digit number, not using a real ssn, and were hired somewhere, don't put the social on the i-765 app?
i understand that may be fraud but how have yall worked?
i dont understand why they would say (include all numbers you have used) if they did not expect us to have used any.

Okay guys, I have a couple of questions I want to clarify.

Question #1: In terms of stapling papers together, is that a good idea or not? If not, are paper clips a better idea instead? Any other suggestions?

Question #2: I know highlighting is not good, but here's what happened to me... I couldn't find a good lawyer around my area so I gathered all I needed and put it in order and then decided to bring it to this Notary Public guy that some people told me he had connections and knew how to fill these things out... Anyway, he took my papers and WROTE on some of my photocopies with RED ink. Basically circled the dates on some of my papers with RED ink. Is that okay? I mean, there's no way I can get another copy of some of those without waiting a month for it again. And I am not waiting a month. Hopefully that'll be alright.

Question #3: I saw on another thread that people in certain states, like Massachusetts, should send the application to Chicago instead . . . is that correct? If so, they also mentioned that for those people, we should not use ACCO clips nor hole punch anything. Any more information on that????

Question #4: I know someone might have asked this but, when assembly your package, some of us might want to use the same document to prove different things, such as identity and proof of presence (my passport for instance proves I was here in 2006 because that's when it was renewed in Boston, but it also proves identity) so... how should I put that together? I don't want to make multiple copies of a document but is that what everyone's doing anyway? Any ideas of other ways to set it up maybe? I saw some people doing so by Year etc... ????

I think those are all my questions for now. Help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Q#1 Use paper clips instead...USCIS prefers them.

Q#2 Thats ok. They will accept them but the marking was unnecessary.

Q#3 This questions was already answered. Depending on where you live, you will file on the lockbox assigned for a particular state.

Q#4 Yeah its ok with the passport. Just make some kind of cover letter explaining what each document is all about. You also do not want to put more documents than you have to. Just the necessary and sufficient. School records are great examples to meet certain categories.

do i need a lawyer if i was removed from the country and given a 5 year punishment, even if i already had lived for 5 years in the U.S. before the removal. And then, entered EWI after removal.
