jesus christ.
savings account count as an asset. yes, you have to list it
annually is indeed 2 semesters. how do you not know this?
what you're sending might be enough. there are countless posts here about what things people are sending. you might want to include birth certificate (a translated copy is pretty much required if your passport isn't valid) and any other records you can think of. If you want to send awards, it's up to you.
correct, you don't have to send bank statement. But again, if you want to, it might be helpful to have more evidence. This is really common sense
you can write a depressing story if you want. But i think all they care about is showing that you need to make money to support yourself. college tuition and any other expenses you have should be enough.

It was stated by txgirl, who i believe is the resident immigrant lawyer at DAP.
You have to prove your date of birth. If your passport isn't valid, you need a translated birth certificate.

She's not a lawyer. She works for a lawyer. I believe she said this before the instructions were even out. She needs to confirm.

The instructions clearly say which documents can be used to proven identity or age.
College ID=Prove identity.
I94,school records=Prove age.

Quick question, I'm just about to go send my application in right now, but I'm debating whether to write a check or use a Money order... I would prefer to write my own check to them but the thing is that my check has my incorrect address on it, it still has the address I lived at 4 years ago. (I dont use checks that often so I don't bother ordering new ones). Do you guys think that's an issue? Or should I just go with a Money Order to avoid any confusion ? Thanks.
