"I need to be able to work legally and support myself due to the fact that I'm 23 years old, live alone and need to be able to pay for food, shelter, utilities, transportation and other miscellaneous. I'm currently enrolled in college but in my home state of Florida undocumented students only qualify for out of state tuition and no financial aid therefore I must pay all of my tuition and supplies out of my own pocket."

Some grammatical errors, but the idea is good. That's kind of the same thing I said, except for the fact that I've already graduated.
