Hi guys,

I was just finishing up my DACA packet but realized that I may not have covered (with concrete evidence) school breaks, particularly summer breaks. How is everybody going about proving stay during these terms? Or is a transcript that covers summer 2007 onwards sufficient? Thanks!

really?! I started college in 2005 and ran through 2012, I went to school every semester. I would think they know I was in the US to be able to do this even if I didn't do summer school during the summers

I hope they are understanding about this all. I didn't send mine in yet, but I know people who sent it in with only a transcript that showed fall and spring.

Aside from people who came from border countries, it wouldn't make since for us to have the means of flying out of the country for the summer and come back in so easily.

well... my advice is more so for what they may consider considerable gap in presence, like say you take a leave of absence.

We are not to sure what the limits are for considerable absence, and would be making assumptions in stating that 2-3 months during summer might not be considered a significant absence, it probably won't in any case, if they are missing anything they will also ask for additional documentation, but if they deny it.... apply again and provide a lot more proof.

Some lawyers are wary about providing too much information as they observe that the less they know the better, only answer the questions they ask and don't provide more than you need to, bank statements provides a bit more information, but if you have bills that might be even better as it would prove your being here without actually showing your finances.

probably not, but it would be good to explain significant gaps. I took a leave of absence one semester for example, I am proving that I remained in the US that semester that I left.

like someone said, if you are not close to the border countries, including Canada lol, or from any of border countries then don't worry. and you don't have to prove those summer breaks.
