I would go with Asus/Lenovos OVER Sony any day.

Have not heard good things about VAIOs in awhile now, not sure if my opinion is isolated tho haha

yeah, just because they're more expensive doesn't mean they are better.

I've been meaning to get an ultraportable. They're light, specs don't necessarily suck, quality isn't too shabby, and batter life is pretty dang good.

asus had some pretty decent ultra portables when i was looking. If you are doing any photoshop I don't see why you'd be using the laptop's screen anyway, just dock the thing and get a proper setup.

IMHO Macs are overpriced/overrated but then again I'm no computer guy. I'm gonna buy/order by Thursday, thanks for the replies!
