I am on the same boat. However, i don't have direct deposit. I was thinking of not filing taxes for this year and claiming $0 for income. By the way, i only worked for like 2 months, which brought in a about $3,500 this year. I am totally lost. Im am ready to send my package tomorrow, but i might add the income because people keep saying not to lie.

to my opinion they don't really care. Don't think that they're going to waste their time trying to find if you're rich.

I work and was honest about my income. Luckily for me I only make about $7000 a year so taxes are not a problem since I'm under the 'poverty' line.
