I consulted with my lawyer regarding all of my documents and she said I easily pass simply with my school transcripts. However, I felt uneasy about my qualification for the presence on June 15, 2012. I told my lawyer on how I literally did not do anything on June because I didn't take summer courses nor do I have a job or bank account to track my actions. She said that my activity in college should be enough though. My last attendance in college was the end of Spring semester May 23rd and my upcoming semester starts on August 27th. My lawyer said that I should be fine with my June 15 qualification because my school documents for the past 8 years have shown constant activity. She said that they probably won't assume I tried to sneak out and sneak back in during the month of June...
I still feel SLIGHTLY weird about it because the gap is so long but she said I should be fine.
Anyone else have long-ish gaps for their proof of presence on June 15? Do you guys think I'll be fine?
What your lawyer says makes a lot of sense to me. The administration is trying to help us so I don't think they would deny you simply because there is the remote (1 in a million) possibility of you sneaking out and into the country during the month of June, specially if you're in school and have a reason to continue here in the States. So yeah man, or girl, don't worry about it. I'm sure there are LOTS of dreamer in your position because it's the summer months, so if they were to get strict about it then they would probably start accepting affidavits to prove presence on the 15th. Remember, the administration is trying to help us, not deny us!
