Well the lawyers at my local coalition said that we DO have to prove our summers..... I don't know if that applies to all of us. I don't know if that applies for all of us because I actually came here with a I-94 in 96 from Venezuela and where would i be leaving the country?! Its not like a can hop over there real quick. I've got all my transcripts but proving those summers through high school that i did not do anything sounds absurd for my case at least. Shouldn't the I-94 prove I haven't been out the country? Any input?

That is the most ridiculous thing ive heard. Then i guess 99% of us would be rejected. Ha!
As long as you can prove the school year it should be fine. These people are trying to GIVE US Deferred Action, not nitpicking to reject us.

Thats what i thought!! I guess since here in NC, there is a lot of people who have crossed the border illegally, they could go back and forth whenever they want and there for that where the whole summer thing comes into play, but i basically don't know anything other then this country! No offense to anyone that has crossed the border, i was just stating a fact. <newyorker> did you file your stuff with just transcrpits?

idk if you actually went back to mexico during those summers or anything (so idk if you should put that you left if you really did during those summers) but I'm from nyc and I've never left nyc for the past 13 years ive been here. I just filed transcripts. Medical records. That's it

Oh no bro, Im from Venezuela and I am just an overstay. I've been in FL and NC for the past 16 years! Never have i left the country at all. I was just saying that, that is maybe why the lawyers are saying to prove the summers here cause they are the majority in the state.
