I sent mine by Express mail on 8/15/12 and it arrived before noon at the Arizona lockbox by 11:38 a.m. on 8/16/12.

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number LIN**********. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

Do you think people sending their apps to AZ are going to have a harder time being accepted because of AZ's atmospheric hate towards illegals?

We sent out our packet on 8/15 to Phoenix as well and it even arrived at the same time as yours 8/16 at 11:38am but still haven't received g1145 notification!!

I ddin't fill out G1145 form. so that means i'm gonna get my notice by mail?

mdhfinsc: Yes, you will only get important notifications by mail. You can still check your status on the website as it is, though. The only benefit of filling G-1145 seems to be not having to check the website because they update you whenever there is a change. Knowing us, though, we'll still check our case status every single day despite not getting any e-mails.

Also, it seems like there are not going to be any text messages sent. I feel like I only read about one person getting a text on here, and they sent it to the Chicago lockbox. It doesn't really matter for me, my phone is the main way I check my e-mail as it is.

How can I check it on the website? by my name or?
