The requirements clearly state that you need to be present to qualify. Since you put your home country, that means that you are out of the country. So that will disqualify you.

Is this not important for everyone? how people send their applications with easy mistakes is beyond me.

You know, I don't think we should be giving such answers. We don't know for sure how strict they are with mistakes. I mean, if the poster is currently in school and stated his/her current US address on the rest of the applications, there might be a chance they will figure out that it was a mistake. It's not like that question hasn't brought up some controversies as to what exactly they meant by residence (currently living in, or legal residence etc..) so, my best advice is to just calm down and wait. Depending on the amount of proof you sent in, they might be able to figure it out. =/ Best of luck!

this is too funny but they might diqualify you for that, lets hope they realize it was a mistake and correct it themselves.

They would probably use this to pin you as not being continuously here. I hope not, because its a stupid mistake, but they CAN disqualify you for it.

I really don't think they'll disqualify you. I just read a 4-paragraph post in another topic by a guy who was saying that an event he went to, applicants were being told to put their country of legal residence. If you provide evidence of being here for 5 years, I think they'll understand. But then again, I have no idea of how strict they are. If anything, they might send your form back and ask you to revise it.
