I know they're a lot of post about this, but I would like to have a final verdict on this from all of you guys now that the number of us have increased exponentially in the pass week. I would like to know if you plan on including fake ssn on your work permit application or not. If you have or have not. I spoke to two lawyers and one said to include it and the other said not to.

One of them said to write "none" if its fake but I feel that if they do want to see any, I could be lying to them. One of them also mentioned a conference call with the USCIS this Thursday where they will ask and/or answer that question. And then some lawyer on Al punto on Univision said never to include documents with a fake ssn.

I'm really confuse about this, but I would like to be as informed as possible. The wording is tricky, and I know they aren't looking to deny people but its something I am worried about. Thanks guys.

Personally, I wouldn't include it. However, I've never used a fake SSN so I didn't come across that problem. It's your call, but I think you're better off leaving that blank.

Its better if you leave it blank. I believe that question addresses the people who once applied for a SS and now are applying for the DACA protection. That's when you would include the number. Since your SS is fake, I don't recommend you putting it. They will check it and if it comes under another name there will be a problem.

You don't have a real SSN, so don' t include it. That will only confuse them. Also note the keyword: 'if any'

Never used a fake SSN so I'm really glad I don't have to worry about it.

That being said, I would leave it blank if I was in anyone else's shoes

I left it blank even though I do use a fake one for work.

IF they ask me why I lied about it I'll tell them is because "I misunderstood the question since I do not own a real SS#"
