i765 Question #15

On the i765 form, Item number 15. It asks 'Current Immigration Status'.
I read in the instructions --'Unlawful Status' was the answer to the question, but a lawyer said, That was wrong, I had to change it to 'Awaiting Deffered Action'
How did you guys answer the question?

"Unlawful Status: DACA"

"Awaiting Deffered Action" could also work.

yeah the lawyer I talked to said to put "deferred action applicant".

same here, I originally put Unlawful Status and he said to put DACA Applicant.

The USCIS Level 2 Represenatative I spoke to said to put
"UNS" (Undocumented. No Status)

What if you put only "Unlawful Status" that is stil ok right?
