Text notification from USCIS

For some reason uscis only sent me a text message notification with two receipt numbers. I put my email in the box but nothing to came in. So in the text there was no mention of where my app was going. Anyone care to tell me what i missed on that email? Ps sent to chicago on 8/15 received on 8/17 notified today.

Are you sure you put the correct e-mail address? Maybe check your spam inbox?

The e-mail would've said that your application was being sent to the Nebraska Service Center. What time did your app. get to Chicago on the 17th by the way?

Doesnt say, I checked my case status on the uscis website and it only shows the 17th.

Oh alright. Only asking because mine got there on the 17th as well so hopefully I'll get a notification today or tomorrow.

Ah, that explains it. Mine arrived on the 17th at 2:05 PM, that explains why I have yet to receive anything. The e-mail simply gives you a receipt number and informs you that they have received your application; you should expect a notification in the mail 7-10 business days thereafter.

Yeah thanks maybe my gmail is being whack

my gmail didnt get any emails from USCIS either. maybe they cant read them. i got the text today. however mine was received at chicago a day before yours. so it looks like they processed very quickly!!! not worried about getting email, since will get letter in mail. but in future might think about getting it corrected. Probably went to someone else... lets see..
