Has anyone consulted with a lawyer about some of these questions? I'm wondering if there will be any legal repercussions for our parents especially

Information on the i-821 forms and i-765? I think its fair that USCIS know who is applying before granting them a work permit. I just can't imagine about a government that doesn't require to know who you are before giving them some sort of status. Also, USCIS has said multiple times that they will not prosecute the parents of those who are granted deferred action.

I don't think they asked a lot of info. They didn't even ask for our parents name.

I felt the information requested was actually pretty basic. USCIS is basically just asking for documentation that you're undocumented, proof that you've been here a while, and some sort of identification. They definitely could have been more strict with the requirements.
