Its also a big fraud to use fake ssn, they already know people use that to work, you have to survive somehow, just dont make it worst by telling them directly that you are doing it.

I have spoken to three different lawyers, two said to not write it down if its fake and als to write "none" because there interpreting the questions that they're are looking for real ssn. The other lawyer said to put it down because people are using w2 and paystubs to proof their presence anyways so they are going to find out either way, but that's how she is interpreting that and she wasn't really too sure about that. I also called the USCIS customer service and they said that they couldn't tell me how to answer that question. I will leave it blank and if they ask I will say that I was interpreting the question as them asking for real ones. I doubt that we will get denied for not answering this question correctly, I only feel people will get denied if they don't meet the 5 requirements that we all should know by now. If I don't apply for differed action because of that, this is probably my best bet of getting any kind of documentation because they will find out about my work history either way and down the road when I do try to get legalize through other means they will still ask the same questions and they might even be harder and tougher on us. I don't know, this is just an opinion. Hope it helps.

Using a fake SSN will not disqualify you from DACA,.
However, I have learned that if you were to adjust your status in the future for permanent residence, your fake SSN usage will work against you.

I'm also going through the process of applying and I ran to this question. My problem is that I claim citizenship in my college application and I don't know whether to put down my fake SSN (which is my INS #) or just leave it blank. Does this apply the same for school or work is what I'm really confused about. :S

^In that case it would be a very clear NO at this point. You should be consulting an attorney as well concerning this and other issues concerning future adjusment as well just in case.

What people should really understand is that this is about those who simply had made up SSN to be able to list it on the paperwork if they want....not those that claimed Citizenship or used fraudulent documents to gain a benefit. The latter two should be clearly consulting attorneys for this process!

If you have worked on a fake SSN it should be ok to list and no there is no penalty despite what many may think or say.
