Was it that Obama cared that Mitt RawM'ney would overturn it worst case and not give us a chance of at least 2 years? NO. Bear with me...I'm getting somewhere.

So, anyways, the process gets completed middle of August, young'ns start applying in droves, time ticking..tick tock, tick tock, less than 3 months...Hispanic base starting to take notice, even the ones who have been disheartened with what's been done (or done' lol)...

Believe it or not, even ppl getting approval and biometrics appointment within what..3-4 weeks or less of application sent is shocking...come on, this is the government we're dealing with..u know how many years some ppl have to wait for something basic? So...Middle of September, ppl in droves go for biometrics, ETA to elections... less than 2 months...tick tock..??!!?!. Word is spreadED, ppl have taken notice, not just hispanics, but mainly yes.. even other prominent minorities hopefully...

And VOILA!! What's next? You say 1-2 months!! Praise be to the gods! Up to a month b4 the holy day of November 6, on which the ≥270/538 JUDGES (or is it just 3??) decide Obama's fate., er, I mean Our fate. And what happened in this month leading to this day? Well Sillies, we (or at least a good chunk of us) started getting our work permits and drivers licenses...and oh did the Hispanics notice, yes they did! Obama ≥ 270, Romney ≤ 268. (notice, 538=270+268 ). I wanted to say Obama 1, Romney 0, but u get the point lol...and yes, I did get carried away with the response as I study for my Actuarial exam, thank you for asking.

Oh, to answer you, no, probably won't be longer than 2 months as that would defeat the purpose of..............
I agree with what you said. A week before elections, Obama wants to have Dreamer statistics at hand. He will announce how many Dreamers applied, how many got accepted, how many had High School Diploma, How many had a College Education, the types of jobs they will be doing based on their education, and how much more in income taxes Dreamers will contribute... etc.

He just wants the statistics to boost him up to the finish line. The President that gets the final push from the Hispanic voters is the one that always wins.

What I am trying to say is that the biometric appointment 3/4 weeks after the receipt date is just the standard operating procedure. DACA applicants are not being treated exceptionally.
Not quite, but I don't feel like typing up a response. I give max 1 month after fingerprinting but it really has to do with how much dirt you have and how easy it is to find your information.

I have never been convicted, fined, or charged with any crime. However, i have been pulled over by police on the streets for randoms reasons just to be questioned and released. Will that show up and slow my case?

I c. Thanks for the info. But the rest still stands, unless of course there are more mistakes, then it doesn't..lol. I do believe wholeheartedly that it's a play of epic proportions...esp. the timing, and it would be futile for our President to have ppl receive their work permits AFTER Nov. 6. Man I can't wait...I miss owning my own car or being able to take road trips or having the prospect of looking for a job in my field..eh..patience lad, patience.

If I deduce further, not only is he using it to gain his election votes from minorities but also he may be doing it to push the ultimate Dream Act that may incorporate more people, etc. He probably trust us that we will get better education, jobs and pay taxes to say we deserve better than this DACA and how legalizing us will help the economy etc.

It is really win-win scenarios. At least we get relief. Obama helps his election, and in the long term, it may help the Democratic party in the long run once we become legalized (hopefully...).

If what I say is just partial plan of big plan, I must say Obama is way ahead of his chess moves.

I can only guess stubborn Republicans butthurt about that.

Just sent my application 2 days ago, I'm so excited but at the same time 1000 questions are on my mind making me crazy,
I sent my application to Dallas, I live in Utah, I wanted to know if anyone else is from Utah and if please explain to me the rest of the process, also if you get a appointment foe the fingerprints and you know you don't have anything bad on it. That means you been approved? ??

The process is the same for everyone, so it isn't different just because you're from a different part of the country.

Basically, after sending in your application. They receive it at the lockbox location (processing center) where they check for completion and then assign you a case a number and the service center location where it will be decided.

After that, your papers are sent to the Service center, they will assign an appointment for you to take a picture and take fingerprints for a background check. It can take weeks to months before you hear a decision.

Did you know that you can check the status of your case online?Yes! you can put in the code given to you in the receipt letters or biometrics appointment letter online at USCIS.gov. Just click on "Check Case Status"
