My family gets TIME delivered and the last issue that came was a picture of Romney on the front cover. Someone drew on horns and a devil beard on him xD

Screw Romney, he better not win.

if he wins...the dream act would be placed on hold for a long time. obama in office at least gives us dreamers hope of being a USC but with romney in office, i'll be happy to be not deported. let's just hope that obama wins.

Obama has good standing in polls and electroal college vote, Mitt will have to try many times harder then Obama to win this election. Just in case if Mitt wins here is my sanerio:

1) Let it be.
2) Overturn veto and will not remew it after first 2 yrs.
3) Stop for future dremers and the one alredy in system let it renew it.

It will not be easy for Mitts to go with # 2 or 3 by looking at political calculation. We all have to remeber DA has over 70% americans support and over whelmingly suported by Latinos.

I would advise anyone whoes eligible for DACA not to wait until election and apply right away.

I am not wasting my time thinking about the "what if's". You are only going to bring sleepless nights as a result of thinking too much about something that may or may not happen. Regardless, even if Romney wins its not going to be the end of the world. What he says and does are going to be completely different things.

As Nic89 has said, anyone that is eligible for DACA needs to apply right away. Romney will not to take away our EAD's for the 2 years. If he does anything, it would be putting his own law in place for future applicants. Applying for DACA as long as you are eligible is the best thing you can do right now.

Most lawyers do not advice getting out of the country even with advance parole because this can haunt you later when you apply for permanent residency. Remember previous unlawful presence is not erased by being granted deferred action. You will have lawful presence only from the time DA is granted to you up to a period of 2 years, renewable. If you leave the country, you maybe able to return because of have advance parole, even that one is not guaranteed. So I suggest, stay put, I know we all so want to travel and see relatives, but think of long-term consequences. Stay put and let's continue to push for DREAM ACT and/or CIR. Then when it passes and we get conditional/permanent residency, then it would be safe to travel. We have waited this long, I for myself, won't risk it.

I feel that if Romney wins he will stop DHS from accepting new applications, that's why I don't think it's such a good idea for those that are waiting till after the election to apply. He's not going to rescind the entire policy, the outrage and confusing that would cause. Especially if ones already have a EAD and social security in hand.

There's something definitely wrong with some of those polls that show a "tight race" between Romney and Obama. I just don't see Romney winning without the middle class unless these people become stupid all of a sudden. This is going to be an easy victory for Obama unless Romney buys the race somehow with his money.

You must be new to politics. That is what I said in 2010 and Repubs/Tea Party got elected, do not underestimate the power of the STUPID

I really hope this is a strategy to get out the votes, because just the thought of a President Romney makes me feel nauseated.
