As great as the news of the DACA and etc, I cannot qualify for it. Congrats to everyone who did! I plan to return to my home country South Korea but I am trying to avoid the 10 year ban. I live in NYC right now and is there anyways I can somehow go to Canada and then take a flight there to South Korea to avoid the 10 year ban?

Tips and helps are greatly appreciated. While my dream won't come true, congrats to everyone else for their dreams!

While I don't have the answer to your question, thanks for being open and supportive!
How long have you been here and why don't you qualify?

To be quite honest with you, if that was the case, a lot of us would have taken that path ><

I do not think it's possible. You will trigger the 10 year ban once you leave the country. If we could avoid the ban by going to Canada most of us would have done that a long time ago.

I was thinking of going in a tour package to toronoto where they require only a student college ID. And I'll go to the Toronto Airport and go to South Korea that way.

Cross illegally into Canada, it's safe and easy as cake. Just look up videos on youtube. Your main challenge will be getting ESTA authorization and putting on a crazy Korean accent when trying to get into the US because it's ultimately the officer's decision whether you enter the country or not. I think you'll be just fine.

Here is the deal...anytime u take a tour package or i am sure go by bus on greyhound they will ask for advance passport etc. so if u r here illegal not a chance buddy. Now if u want to claim asylum in Canada for any reason then i am sure u can avoid a ten year ban in us by going to Canada's border by car. Its complicated... u should in my opinion stay another 6 months...something like a miracle could happen

here is a deal...a friend of mine told me. that if u drive to Canada by car and u claim asylum at the border...now here is the trick u have to step in Canada and do it so I guess by law they have to grant u the request and u follow up with the court etc. But if u can stretch the case for 2-3 year ( I am not sure the exact time frame) then automatically they have to grant a residency. and eventually in 3 years when u get ur citizenship with canadian passport u can come here by plane like nothing happened...unless they have u in US system with fingerprints etc.
