Do you think I would be able to go to a center in a different state I will be send to? My primary residency is in Washington State, but I go to college in NYC. Almost $600 round trip flight. I don't have much money left at this point.

I say try your best to reschedule your test. If not, just go late. The member on here who did a walk-in said there was a guy who came in one day late and they still did his biometrics before walk-ins. I'm sure they won't do anything if you're a half hour late.

This should be the most important appointment of all our lives and as soon as we receive our biometric date we should clear our schedule for that entire day. Unless its a matter of life or death or medical emergency, no one here should miss their assigned date. But that's just my opinion.

DACA is a once in a life time oportunity. I suggest you don't reschedule. If thats not an option then go ahead and reschedule the biometrics appointment except it'll sat back your DACA.

Where do you go to school? Show your professor the letter. You dont have to give him full info (you never know his stance on immigration) but he'll obviously know its important since its government issued. If it fails with him, Department chair ASAP.

Honestly, DACA is important, but becoming a nurse, and nurse practitioner later on, is way more important for my life. Failing out of nursing school would destroy my chances for having a solid middle/upper middle class lifestyle. Also, I am not missing my date, I am just missing my time by 30 minutes.

When I called the national number they said the worst they can do is reschedule me and they will most likely accommodate me especially if I tell them ahead of time I will be late. It isn't like my application is going to be denied because of this.

That is why what I really need is the number for the local service center. I can't find it anywhere. How were some of you guys calling your local service center?
