He didn't say his 'biometrics got accepted' but that he had already done his biometrics and got accepted. I agree, too vague but it coincides with the 2 week post-biometric time frame of the OP. If we do a walk in early doesn't that kind of speed up the process for everyone else as well? They give us a 2 week notice so we have enough time to attend that appointment. If you can do it earlier that's great, just make sure you don't walk in there with a bullshit excuse that will harm your process. Ill be perfectly honest with them I got work period, and it's a damn tough economy and I cannot afford to let my work day slip away. I need all the money I can get, times are tough right now and a lot tougher for us dreamers.

On the contrary, I'm one of the FEW strong-minded people on this thread that actually decided to think for themselves and not SUCCUMB to the pressure of ignoring their scheduled dates.

In any other American institution like a school, would you show up for a test or exam on an earlier date and expect the professor to give you the test without making prior arrangements with him/her explaining why you won't be able to make it to class on the actual test/exam day/time? Oh! I'm sorry, by your logic, you'd be doing the professor a favor by showing up unannounced and asking for (or demanding) your test or exam immediately, right?! While those students that did their best to clear out their schedules for that date/time are the clueless ones, correct?

How long does an identification card usually take to come in the mail after you apply at the DMV? I plan on getting that before a dl.

For Christ sake.. if walking in was so terrible they wouldn't allow them... the reason they for is because it's better to print someone who needs to be painted regardless when then it is for their tech's to sit there and play solitary on their phones. Its simple utilization of resources... please get over it...
