I was a lot more excited earlier, but some of you guys made me feel pretty bummy. I signed up to help and give people an idea of what was coming, but instead I get called a liar and troll. Hopefully some of you guys apologize after seeing other dreamers get approval.

Oh I see. i understand

You know, I got my first EAD at 16 which i didn't use cause my parents actually refused for me to work, they said school first. and i have seen the price go from $175 to what it is now and really the only thing i got a was deep hole in my pocket.

When my mom got her EAD she said that it was like 2-3 weeks after she went in for the biometrics. So i do believe that "NotYetKnown" is telling the truth.
Why would he want to lie? what will he gain?

Thank you!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I feel like one week to make the card and another week to mail it to me sounds reasonable, considering how this processes seems to be expiated with great detail. Though, with tomorrow being 9/11, there might be a dip in production because I'm sure there will be a lot of remembrance ceremonies throughout all government agencies.

Just wondering, it seems like many people on here have had EADs in the past. What happened that y'all don't have them anymore? I have a friend with a family petition who has religiously renewed her EAD since high school and we are both in our late 20s ha...

Seriously tho, thank you. I told my parents this small piece of good news and it made their day knowing more details about the process and time.

This is really the best news I've read today even tho my appointment is still at the 17th, I'm glad a timeline can be followed.
