i had an asylum case that lasted 8 years. it didn't prevail so i could not get ead anymore. i was ordered to leave in 2011.

i really think ead suck. i don't want to keep forking over $465 (whatever) every 2 years.

I'm skeptical myself. It seems awfully fast. As you know I sent my package on 8/15 and my biometrics is this Wednesday *pretty much tomorrow*. We're just gonna have to wait and see how the rest of the people who've done their walk-in biometrics, yourself included, turn out.

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for replying Yeah I don't think EAD every two years is a dream come true, but it's something to start with. Hopefully once everyone gets it we can all come together and make a real push for something bigger like DREAM/CIR, and not just stroll away hiding in our own bubbles again.

When it says "card in production" I've noticed they come in less than a week actually.Might wanna look out for a white USPS priority envelope with "National Benefits Center" on it.

I'm finding it extremely hard to believe. As you said only time will tell. All the best with your biometrics. Protect those fingers with your life until the appointment. There has been a string of finger tip accidents plaguing our people lately. LoL!

I'll be sure to keep an eye out! But again, I don't want to keep my hopes up. I'm set for 30 days, anything prior will only be a plus. Just hope I don't get called a liar and troll once I let you guys know I received my EAD. Some might want me to scan my card for proof, giving away my private information. Then, when I decline such requests, I'll be further called a troll. Or if I do present some form of picture, it'll be said to be doctored.

Maybe you guys will change your tunes in the following days, when more people receive their notifications.

That's true. We will become stronger after we get accepted for DACA. Our voices will get louder and we won't stop until the federal DREAM ACT gets passed! Let's go democrats, I hope they have a big win in NOVEMBER. We need more dems in the house so we can get this passed by 2013.
