Anybody waiting on biometrics for more than two weeks? - Page 7

I sent my application to PHX on the 16th of Aug and I received the two receipts on Aug 23rd, I am still waiting for a biometrics appointment. I am also worried because I sent my application on the second day yet people who sent theirs way after mine have been getting more updates. Mine got rerouted to CALI so maybe thats why and plus I live in SF which might also make a difference. Is anyone else in SF or surrounding areas having issues?

I also have not received a biometrics appointment and I have been waiting since August 23 . Maybe this is our week. FINGERS CROSSED!!!!

Yeah, I received them on August 24th but no biometrics since then. Do you know if there is a way to contact the california service center to see whats going on? I called the national help line but they said they cant tell me anything except what they see online.

okay, wait wait wait. you guys are getting all hyped up by the news approval. but those guys were like the first, they didn't have to wait. infact uscis had to wait for their application!! if your app didn't get there before aug. 17 then you have to wait for the guys that send their before the 17th. while the guys that send their before 17th didn't have to wait. so just keep tracking and waiting guys. your time will come.

Ahhh too much waiting for me! I am checking my CSU account daily to see if I will receive financial aid under the California Dream Act. Supposedly it takes 4-6 weeks. Today marked the 4th week. I hope to get that soon. But most importantly, the BIOMETRICS LETTER!

I think it's all based on your processing center so far Nebraska has been the star. Heard someone from Vermont go their approval. Maybe California has a resource shortage or logistical drawback.

I went to see a lawyer on August 20 to prepare my applications to be sent off, He took all my information and evidence and told me he will take care of everything. On August 28 I called his office to find out if my applications has been sent off and his secretary told yes. On September 10 I called his office again to see if I could get a tracking number for my packet and I was told by him that it was a matter of office policy not to release that information, But I should get some information from USCIS by the end of the month. The only sense I have of what's going on with my packet is the money order I bought for $465 and it still hasn't been cashed. I decided to call USCIS this morning to see if I could get some information from them and the lady told me she sees nothing for me in the system, But if it was sent off on the August 28 I should have gotten something from them already. I only don't know what's my next move from here is...

Are you able to go into the lawyers office and ask in person? That's probably what I would do. Tell them that they don't have to give you the tracking number, but if they could at least track it for you and let you know if it says it was delivered or not? I hope I don't end up frustrated like you. I didn't receive a tracking number from my lawyer either and am hoping that it really got sent out when they said they did.
