So i was like 6? dad came first, then went for mom and I, I don't remember much other than:
Seems we went thru the desert/mountain area:
We went thru a canyon, that had a river thru that wasn't too big as it was like summer. The big untrimmed trees, we used to hide from the helicopters/patrols. The river itself was more like a small creek due to lack of water. The shrubs were dry and grass was dying as we passed thru it. I think i saw a skull from a cow or some sort of animal. (mom says, a rattle snake was gonna bite a little girl, her mom didn't do anything nor did the other guys, so when one of the guys threw a rock at the snake, my mom went to get the little girl out of the way. )
Just remember hunger and being thirsty, thru out those memories.
I remember walking thru a lot of dirt, perhaps mountains/hills.
I remember walking thru sand, looked as we were passing a desert.
I remember wheel prints(did not know what they were at that time) and there were cucumbers along the way. We are ran and got some cause our water supply was gone and we needed to get hydrated!. I guess i kinda remember a type of farm were we stayed. That's all i remembered and thus have remained here since.
Mom took care of me the whole time, putting me on her shoulders etc <3 mom
Later on dad put in my mind that i was born here etc.. til Junior year, when applied for scholarships and found out my actual status, my life was turned upside down..

Creepy how true that is.
Vacation to see our family in Florida. It took my parents a week to pack our entire house and move here with 7 suitcases.
What I miss the most are the family members that I didn't get to say goodbye to.

Wow.. Nobody really understand how tough of a life we all had.
Well, what doesn't kills us, makes us stronger.

Came here when I was very young, my mother and I, to join my farther. Since then they've both adjusted. I lost status not to long ago. Prior to that I've worked through out my life, public, private, labor, management till I found home at a vert prominent organization. I worked during the day and gone to school in the evening through out my b.s. and masters. Can't wait for my ead so waking up in the morning will have a meaning again.

My mother, two brothers and I escaped from a very abusive father! I was six years old at the time now I'm 28 and never went back! We left everything behind and started with zero when we came to California !

I don't remember. I was three yo. I crossed the river on someone's shoulders with my mom and dad and bro following. That was in 1986. I've always known I was illegal. In fact, whenever we'd see the cops my parents would tell us to duck. Lol. The whole amnisty thing was going on at that time and my uncle and his family applied. My parents did not because we were only going to leave soon. 26 years later we're still here -_-

My bro married a USC but hasn't applied because he doesn't want to leave the country. His wife doesn't work and they have four kids. Two my brothers and two from the wife's previous marriage. My lil sisters were born here so technically I'm the only illegal of all my siblings. Since 2009 I've been in line for my greencard thru my sister but that takes many many many decades. So I need the dream act or a CIR because I'm 29 and will probably age out from qualifying for the dream act when and if it passes
