I agree. Be forceful with your lawyer, and explain your frustration. You paid him or her, so it is your right to know what is going on with your application.

Ahh this seems so shady, Its nearly a month. I'll be up and arms, if I was you. My lawyer has received the same updates that I have received. I paid her half of the fee and, she told me, I can pay her the other half later.

I did with an Attorney but i was on top of my game. Hassled the paralegal everyday til she finalized it with the attorney (after i spoke with him twice) and then reminded her for the tracking only about 50 times =P...She shipped last week, got there 14th and just got the g1145 today!

I did it with a non profit organization with their immigration lawyers for free, and I got my biometrics appointment scheduled already. My attorney sent it on Aug 15th, but it took awhile to get there, I believe around Aug. 21.

Is the money order or check, cashed before or after we receive the I-797 C Notice of Action?

Mine was cashed the same day I received my G-1145 notification. Am still waiting for I-797.
