I just did a 10am walk in. The wait was about 30 minutes, but they were really lenient. I used my expired passport and my college id with no problems.

ASC in San Francisco was really easy too. I had an appointment at 1 pm but another Dreamer with me did a walk in, and I didn't even finish filling out the forms they gave me and called me already. They were really cool too, when my friend was about to give an excuse, the guard said he don't have to give an excuse and just do a walk in. The whole process took about 10 minutes.

The security guard stated that it is not allowed and I would have to reschedule if I couldn't make it to my appointment... I said ok thank you but then she said go ahead and fill out the application just because we are not too busy today.
