Dont mean to sound like a broken record, but seriously, SERIOUSLY, go online and do this thing yourself. Having a lawyer do it for me and pay 1k was a stupid idea for me to do, to be totally honest with you. First off, they'll tell you whatever they want to tell you, its not public fact or law, its total opinion.
GO file on your own, spend the application fee ($465) on a money order, and send it in with all required paperwork, ON YOUR OWN!!..

Did i mention that you should stick a fork in your attorney and send the app on your own?

Yeah, a whole lotta bull.
Your acceptance is not dependent on your GPA.
End.

Edit:
It sounds to me like your lawyer is putting her own personal opinions into the process. Maybe she feels that only Dreamers who perform well in schools are deserving. Just my two cents.

Wow. This has notario written all over it. Although having a good gpa and ecs might work in your favor as it is a humanreviewing your applications which has the ability to show desecration chances of that helping or hurting you are very slim. I for one have a bs/ms with a very high gpa yet I'm still waiting.

If GPA was the case, I would have my stuff already! 3.539 @ Hunter College, cum laude + departmental honors.
Can't wait to send off my application to Columbia, hopefully Sallie Mae will loan me some $$ with my social and citizen co-signer.

That lawyer is garbage. She actually thinks she was giving you advice. Dump her, I honestly don't think you need a lawyer for DACA; unless you had legal issues in the past. Just do it yourself and hope for the best.

Bullshit!!!! i didnt do great in high shool either but I did/ am doing great in college 3.5 GPA. I doubt it has any impact on the decision. This woman is misinformed. File it on your own! You can do it! Why do you need a lawyer? They just suck up money for their personal gain if they have to. This bitch needs to get slapped!
