I really don't think it has to do with the fake ss. I just got approved yesterday and should be getting my EAD soon. On my 765 app I did write down the number that I always used for work and credit cards. I filled it out by myself and I wrote it down bcuz i wanted to be honest since it asks to write down "all the numbers you have ever used" If I'm not mistaken, USCIS updated their FAQs on september 14th and stated not to write down those socials unless they were officially given to us by SSA. So if you sent it before 9/14 u should be ok.

Yes, I translated my own birth certificate. I went to a workshop in UCLA and they gave a form I could fill out to translate my birth certificate.

@OP. Don't worry about it right now. There's nothing you can do until you know what the letter says. That probably won't be till Monday. Just think of it this way: Better late than never.

You could've gotten worse news. You could've gotten ur whole application denied.

My specifics on my case are entered without inspection, arrived at 8 years old, no criminal record, high school graduate, currently working.

i belive that you were suppost to get it translated by someone else i dont think it matters who aslong as they speak both languages anyone but you ..

Ok at least I know not everything had to be notarized and birth certificate could also be translated by us. Makes me feel better but at the same more impatient on what they could possibly want!!!
