also, i'm a visa overstay.. came into the country back in 1994 when they didn't have I-94's ... i sent in my passport with the visa and the immigration entry stamp
omg I came here in 1994 as well way before I-97s came into play! Ahhhh I hope that doesn't have anything to do with it.

The good news is that when an RFE is issued it means that your case is in the decision mode. In other words it is on the "top of the stack." Keep in mind, sometimes RFEs are issued asking for something that actually was submitted, but they did see it. Did you have a summary and coding to help them find the different items they need? They will tell you exactly wht you need to send. It could even mean something like you forgot to sign or date a form, or sent the copy of your signature instead of the original.

However, do keep in mind that they do not issue a second RFE. In other words if what you send still is not sufficient, they will deny.

Once you get the letter, feel free to let me know what you plan to send to satisfy it, and I am happy to give my opinion.
Didn't the OP just mention that this was the second RFE received? Or maybe it was the other poster who's in the same boat. Either way. Try not to guess when giving as a matter of fact information. If you're positive you're correct include some sources. I don't know if there's an RFE limit but if these posters are telling the truth, one of them has already gotten 2 RFE's

I am terribly sorry this has happened! But stay positive and I'm glad that it wasn't rejected as a whole. I really hope you can move through this stage ASAP! If this happens to me I will definitely share this with you guys, you're all so supportive with each other.

My heart goes out to you. But just chill!! Don't freak out just yet, k? You have NOT been denied, they just want more accurate info. You are NOT in trouble!

I read (scammed through) most of the thread. My question is, what did you send to prove that you have no legal status? It might be that given you wrote down a social security number they are like, "she's working, she has a SS#, why the hell did she apply..." Did you wrote down it WASN'T your number?

If you got nothing to hide just answer the Adjudicators concern.

From your TOC, it appears to be nothing for 2007 or 2008. or I might of missed something.
