Sometimes I feel like it's been so long since I graduated and was in the whole "school mode". I feel like I've been in the twilight zone for a while and now I don't know where to go.[/quote]

I know how you feel, but the good thing about this is that we finally have a chance to prove ourselves in the real world.
Once we have that EAD and SSN in our hands, we can start looking!

I took it during my senior year. It is a bit challenging, and it has a lot of stuff. I heard it is difficult to pass it after graduating because your memory is not as fresh as it was during your student years. However, some of my friends passed it after graduation, so it is doable. I recommend you to start reviewing for it since you may not remember everything now.

It is sooo hard. hahaha I remember taking it. It was awful.
I didn't pass it because I didn't have motivation. I knew I wasn't going to be able to work after college, so I didn't study. Bad idea!

Yea that is definitely my plan. Or I'll take a course if I can find one as well.

I prepared for it the day before. I was very busy with school projects and ITE that I did not have much time to prepare for it. Nevertheless, I passed it since a lot of stuff was still fresh on my memory. I recommend you to take it again since it is required to take the P.E. , which is my dream. I am a male, by the way.

This would totally benefit me, got my MS in mechanical engineering this may 12 with a 3.91 GPA, i was not sure what to do next... then deferred action happened, so it feels great.

Went to the engineering career fair this week , revised my resume, put on a tie and suit, and began submitting my resume to several companies. In hopes that my working permit would get here by November and get a job by December. With my confidence level to the roof i talked to the people at the career fair, talked to them without feeling the weight of being undocumented.
