I sent my application on 9/11/2012, already got receipts and bio appointment. I'm a little afraid of doing a walk in so I will just wait til 10/10/2012 to go and do it. The reason it took me kind of long to apply was because first I wanted to make sure that I had everything that I needed to send, make sure that I'd done it correctly (filled it out myself) and finally that there's two of us in this process in my house and we didn't have the money (my brother will hopefully get to send his next week) I can't wait for October and then the wait will truly begin, because from what I've read on here, the cases don't really get checked til they receive the biometrics results!

That's the same reason why we took till now to send our applications! Wow you got your biometrics letter already too? Thanks for updating this! I'm going to be looking out for ours (bro and mine). Yea good luck and try not to lose it (sanity)!

I still have to send mine in, hoping to do it in the 2nd week of October. I had an issue with my passport, had to reschedule for October the 3rd =(

Also, title of this thread is misleading. There is no such thing as late applicants and there is no deadline to send in your application.

Oh no! Hope you're able to get that resolved! Btw you don't have any other form of identification? Like an id issued by your country of birth. I know many countries have that idk what they call them though....mexico calls them matricula.

You know I didn't realize that until now... and you're right. It should just say September-October applicants....

I'll confess to you that I'm afraid that something might go wrong with mine too. Just know we're all here for each other regardless!

Y'all I felt the same way the moment I sent mine in (well I also felt extremely overjoyed/hyper but that could've been the coffee...) i got my i-797 c this weekend and so far no RFE. So it's all good! Stay positive and go have some coffee or make some at home
