i really didn't have many gaps.. i had school records until december.. and then i got check ins at the local gym printed out from november to the day i turned in the apps.. also had some bank records for a few months.. especially for june... my brother on the other hand really didn't have much evidence for the past 5 years.. he turned in 3 notarized affidavits.. and he found dated scorecards for a league he plays in.. and printed those out.. and our lawyer said those should be just fine.

It was not in any way directed at the OP. I think the OP's question is legit and I'm here to lend any help that I'm able to lend.

Do you have bank statements that show activities on certain dates? Job? Volunteer or church involvement?
tickets with your name and dates, western union reciepts, if you started a service or contract in person, doctor or dentist visits, immunization record, bought something that required to give you a reciept with your name and date or you had a service done.

They didn't mail you anything from the admissions office or from your school during that time? No roommates that can write affidavits? Did you rent a room or apartment from someone? Just some ideas (all of the above ones are great too) but I have a feeling you'll be okay if you just explain it in your cover letter.
