The OP is clearly misguided in his reason why? However he is right that American cannot survive without immigrants (legal or illegal). It is not a matter of doing jobs Americans wont do, because if u could get rich cleaning toilets, then im sure EVERY American would clean toilets with a smile on their face. However u cannot become rich doing such a job, but that job needs to be done non-the-less. Immigrant workers (legal an illegal alike) will do those jobs (any job really), and as a result the job supplier is able to keep the wages for it down. Someone who came here for the sole purpose of making money doesn't complain about wages like a typical American would.

Also immigrants work more hours, dont expect OT, wont unionize, and work hard for their money (harder than a lot of Americans would at least), so they are ideal for corporations. Immigrants wont expect a raise after X amount of time, so not only do they keep wages down, they also keep it stagnant. Immigrants (legal or illegal) will always be loved by America, because we keep the power of wages in the hands of the "job creators."

The difference between illegal immigrants and legal ones is that an illegal immigrant will more than likely not move on to greener pastures. Legal immigrants have options, so they will always be looking for something better while an illegal immigrant is just happy to be making money. IMO

It is not that illegal immigrants is hated by Congress, we are just always used as a diversionary tool. If a problem ensues and politicians dont wanna deal with it, we become the reason for it. I remember seeing a commercial when this guy was talking about global warming, and he said "when an immigrant comes to this country, they burn on average 8 times more carbon than they do in their home country. U wanna do something about the environment, get rid of the illegal immigrants" or something like that.

Those are just my opinions anyways. If we weren't such easy target, and couldn't be used for political gains...we would of been given a path to residency a long time ago.
