They probably saw that her transcript actually said that she was gone during that period, went to go look at what other evidence she had to cover that period and discovered that the evidence she provided for that period was actually from 2011 rather than 2007 and had her 2011 address rather than her 2007 address. Not something to freak out about. Just explain and give them evidence from 2007 that you were in the United States during that period.

I've read AAO decision where USCIS tore people apart for smaller things.
USCIS is not your friend. As more time passes I can guarantee you Fraudsters will appear more frequently giving the process more scrutiny.

Just saying.
A lawyer, not in those words, mentioned that. Specifically, she said that the California center is very anal. They can give you crap about a very small detail if they feel like so.

Additionallly, the tax document lists the following address for you (My current address in CA) which is your current address according to your form I-821. However, you indicated that you resided at (GA address where I use to live) from August 18, 2004 to October 20, 2008. Your school transcript submitted also indicates that you were out of state 2007. You may still submit evidence, which maybe include, but is not limited to, copies of:"

Well I was out of school for a semester because I moved to CA. I moved October 2008 but started school here in CA January 2009. I don't know what to send :/ I reread it and I'm confused what do they want? My transcripts covered 2006-2010.

Agreed JCJoy. I had written out this whole post too.... LOL, here it was...

So what I'm seeing is USCIS doesn't see this as 2007 taxes, but proof of 2011 presence. It's like saying "even though you say you were here for 2007, you filed for 2011 so where were you in 2007"?

The REAL problem is her transcripts.

Her problem is that her school says she was out of the state in 2007 and she moved in 2008. She also missed a semester of school and didn't start again until January 2009. As a result, her transcripts from 2006 - 2010 don't cover her for GA to CA. I'm not sure what her transcript timeline is, but if her transcripts were airtight and showed she was in school then the taxes won't matter.

Hmm. So do you think different addresses would really matter? I'm asking because my transcript has all my four years of high school and all, but it has a different address. I forgot to list it on my application because it's and address that I used only so that I could go to that particular high school. My mother didn't want me to attend the one I was assigned to because it had too many problems. So I'm wondering if the address thing would be an issue, or if the fact that all my years and everything are covered would suffice.

Well at least we know now.

I sort of wrote in whatever months and days for when I lived at what addresses in mine. Hope nothing goes against what I wrote. The years are all good though. I want to check my application since I made a copy just to put my mind at ease but I'll just wait to see if I get a RFE after my appointment . Why worry now right?

Ughh this is getting me worried. Idk if it will matter but when I got my passport they put the same address as my matricula, but the address on my matricula was from where I used to live, so my passport has my old address not current one. But my transcripts and bank statements do have my current address, hope that isn't why I haven't gotten an answer, it would suck to have to get a passport with my current address. Ahhh!
