Never heard of a Filipino who wishes one of us well. Filipinos here in Chicago, especially at the embassy, are so judgmental. I hate going there when it's time to renew my passport.

Lol I know what you mean brah. But this guy was pretty chill we were talking about jollibee and sisig most of the time. Most judgmental Filipinos are those who were petitioned and never went to school.

I've never had my passport renewed (should I?) But at my old job I'd go to that embassy to have clients' docs. notarized/authenticated and, wow, they are some of the saddest people ever. No modicum of courtesy. Every damn time I'd have to fight the urge from yelling, "Don't pretend you don't see me! I am a person!! I EXIST!" I just have to remind myself that they probably aren't paid very well and it probably sucks to work there.
