What I'm trying to say now is that, what's done is done, lets not cry about it and if it really is affecting process times, then lets be patient.

You are absolutely right though. But do you wanna how fortunate we are to have this process? Without this we would still be living our dull lives trying to squeeze out some sort of happiness day in and day out. Do you know some green card petitions have to wait for years and in comparison to those wait times, ours is still the fastest even WITH the backlog.

I'm not defending a walk in at all actually if it does slow down the process time. I'm against it if it has that impact and we should try to prevent it not for selfish reasons but for reasons that affect our entire image in the american community.

I don't think they prioritize by date of entry. I entered 1992 so far no approval.

Great! All we need is division among ourselves. Kind of reminds me of the arguments that you always hear "they are taking our jobs," or "they should get in the back of the line of the people that came to the US legally." For me, if a DREAMer benefits from a walk-in good for him/her!! I've waited a lot of years to get a work permit, what is a few more months more?? I get the feeling that those that are complaining are just bitter that they did not think of doing a walk in. It would be better to have a cooperative mentality (being happy when a fellow member gets their application approved) as opposed to having a competitive one (being jealous and bitter because someone's application got approved faster for reason X or reason Y).

And like another member said, complaining in the forum will not change anything. I am 99.99% sure that USCIS will not change its policy because of the comments here. Instead of arguing why not keep this forum a place where people can come in for information and moral support?
