I want to do a walk-in because i was rescheduled to go in again!! ugh damn USCIS. I recieved my first I-797 Notice of Action for my Biometrics appt on 9/03/2012 and it was scheduled for 9/18/2012 as a Code 2, i decided to play by the rules and wait until my appt to go in, they only took 1 finger print, my picture and signature successfully. Now as im patiently waiting to recieve an Approval or RFE maybe, i get another mutha****** Biomtrics letter dated 9/24/2012 and set for 10/18/2012 a month later this time for a Code 1...so now im frustrated and just wanna walk in on Monday. My question is does anybody know why the **** did USCIS schedule me a Code 2 then a Code 1 instead of just doing a Code 3 like everyone else??....also has anyone had a successful walk-in at the ASC in Lubbock, TX?? Thanks again.

Code meanings:
Code 1- 10 fingerprints
Code 2- Right index finger, picture, signature
Code 3- Both Code 1 and 2

That is so odd, lol.Code 1 is usually for Permanent residents.....unless there was something wrong with your first finger prints and they want to make absolutely sure.

Well i actually had an I-485 petition earlier this year to try and adjust status and when i went to biometrics i was a Code 3 ...but damn i'm just frustrated because i gotta wait another 2 weeks so they can send my prints to the F.B.I again and get results back.

Should've walked in like a boss.

There is no "playing by the rules." If we're in line at a buffet and you're taking your sweet time at the mashed potatoes and the mac & cheese in front of you is unoccupied and I don't want mashed potatoes, you bet I'm jumping in front to get my mac and cheese! BOOOOOOOOOM!

I went to the Lubbock ASC as well. (Check my sig.) I think you just got unlucky. My experience was really good. Like the posts say, the guard is really cool. The lady was fixated on the TV directly opposite of the room. The black guy was really chill and made for good conversation.

Just give them a call to see if they can fix it.

Hmm interesting. I have an i-485 pending petition as well and I was scheduled as a code 3, all ten prints, pic, and sig. You think we could be up for our green cards? lol, that'd be a great surprise. Did everyone else without another petition filed and just Daca get a code 2? Really interested in knowing.
