That USCIS will deport parents.

That DACA grants citizenship.

That DACA allows us to travel the world.

-_-

Here is another thing I heard today:

If the applicant entered the U.S. without inspection, consider submitting sworn written affidavits from individuals who had personal knowledge of the entry that discuss all of the following:

When the person departed the home country

A thorough description of the applicant’s entire journey from the home country to the United States

For each country that the that the applicant entered during the journey to the United States, the following information – When the applicant arrived there How the applicant got there (method of transportation) What the applicant did while there When the applicant departed

Exactly where the applicant entered the United States

How the applicant entered the United States (walk, drive, airport, etc.)

Nowhere in the instructions does it say that you have to explain to the government how you got here. This is so silly. lol

My grandfather keeps referring to this as the DREAM Act.

You will be able to obtain your residency through this.

If you have any type of criminal record don't apply.

I know I have probably heard more, but that crap about giving a detailed description of how you entered the U.S. is really ridiculous.

That once we get approved we will be able to apply for FAFSA because we'll have a social and that he/she will try because it doesn't hurt to try. -_-

Even after I said no we won't qualify for FAFSA even if we have a social and that having a social does not automatically make us legal. (Yes it does apparently.) -_-

Federal Aid is strictly allowed for only permanent residents, citizens, or a certain category of immigrants (in which we certainly do not qualify). The only sense I see in applying the FAFSA is to let your university/college know your financial situation so they can at least give you university-grants (the private colleges give big grant money , while the public colleges don't)
