It gives even more incentive to push for the Congressional Dream act, doesn't it?

DACA does not entitle any dreamer to permanently stay nor guarantee travel on returning if abroad....seems like plenty of incentive to still push for the Federal legislation.

I think we all know this already, but only Permanent Residence can guarantee any stay here.

PS they came through the airport and denied them entry.
The matter of arrabally actually turned that whole thing around. it has made using AP "safe" even with those who have accrued unlawful presence. the only thing is that they dont know if that applies to everybody traveling using advance parole or just those awaiting adjustment of status. obviously there is a lot of apprehension because this ruling just happened in april of this year! here's one article on it..

Thank you for the Link!

It surprises me that a lot of lawyers have never heard of it, or don't know about it.

Border Patrol won't give a damn about that case, they can still deny you entry and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it.

Yup, it's just an example but informative about the risks.

you might be right, but this can open potential doors for a lot of people that might not be able to adjust status before or might one day have to make an emergency trip. Laws can change; we're living proof of that. BIA decisions are binding upon DHS, USCIS and CBP btw. and border patrols follow what ever is in their handbook...

i thought med schools, whether public or private, don't take undoc immigrants because there's an extremely high chance of not being able to practice in the US. at least international students could likely find a legal opportunity so there's no real issue with accepting true international students, but undoc is very different.

my mom has a TPS and she said she knows tons of people that have left the country on advance parole and none of them had ever had a problem.. she even said that one of her friends left the country two times in one year... she also said she doesn't know anyone or ever heard of anyone ever not being able to come back.

we are planning on going back next year with advance parole.. she hasn't been back in 16 years and i haven't been there in 10 years. we are so exited and happy for this new opportunity

No one is telling you this to scare anyone off. It's a fact this issue does exist.

Why do you think there was a case for this same issue if this situation does happen. Arrabelly Yarrabelly.

People tend to think people make stuff up on the internet when they can Google themselves.
